PUBLIC & BEACH FISHING
Fishing is a favorite for many visitors and residents of the Gulf Coast. Below are some of the areas where you can fish without chartering a boat. There are some fees involved at various locations so do check out rules and regulations. Good luck!
A saltwater fishing license is required for all of the waters in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. This includes the Intracoastal Waterway and the back bays. Residents and non-residents are exempt if they are under the age of 16 and residents are exempt at age 65 and older.
CHARTER BOAT FISHING
Without question this area has some of the best fishing in all of the Gulf of Mexico and there are literally hundreds of charter services. Below you will find a great selection of services, but by no means all of them!
